[Day 1], [Day 2], [Day 3], [Day 4], [Day 5]
This was our day where we had wanted to go to Kyoto, but it nonetheless didn't work out.  So we thought we would scope of the Japanese Sword Museum.  I offered to lead us there.  Tam was very meticulous about directions while we were there.  He did an excellent job at getting us around.  I got us to the general ballpark, but couldn't exactly find the museum.  I think the map I had was a little inaccurate.  I think Tam was a little muffed because he had done such an excellent job as he had done and I couldn't get this one thing right.  But we eventually found it after wandering around for a few minutes.  I still say the map was a little incorrect.  They wouldn't let us take any pictures inside of the museum.  So we checked out the one room museum, which was most interesting, but small.  I must say, Tam did a most excellent job in scouting everything and getting directions to everywhere.  He was scouring over his book constantly trying to find places to go.   Outside of Museum

Then we went down to the Shinjuku park.  It is a large park with many themes.  There is, of course, a Japanese garden, a rose garden and some European themed parts.  What was amusing about this was that there was a photography class in session.  The students all had these cameras on tri-pods and were taking photos of the roses.  Then the instructor would blow a whistle and they would go to the next part.  All the students were, I would say, in theirs 40's and beyond.   Park Entrance

We went to the same area we had gone the previous night for some beer.  We tried this restaurant that was supposed to be across from the Kirin beer hall, but it didn't exist, so we went to the Kirin beer hall.  We saw the same street vendor selling Yakitori, but we had already eaten.  So we just enjoyed some beer there.  When it was time to go home, the subway was REALLY packed.  While standing on the subway platform, this Japanese walked up and stood behind Tam and I.  She looked completely trashed out of her mind.  She was smoking, I am not sure if this was intentional, and the smoke was blowing towards us.  She kept looking us.  She was dressed like a slut as well.  Then we boarded the subway and she stood right next me and stared at me the whole time.  Kind of weird.  On two side notes, the Japanese are very orderly on the subway platforms, standing in line until the subway comes.  Number two, there are these people whose "job" is to crowd as many people into the subway as possible and somebody was doing that.  And then this little woman, abut 5 feet tall was burrowing her way through the subway car and pushed up against my back.  It was amusing as I simply towered over her and most of the rest of the people in the subway.
On to Day 5 of our travels.
