A fairly common restaurant type setting. You sit
on the floor, cross-legged (or Indian style as we used to say in camp)
and eat. It supposed to be better for you. You would
typically have a main dish (such as beef, noodles or soup) and then many
side dishes. Oh, the side dishes are scrumptious. They would
include Kim Chi (of course), Mu Che, Gok Doogee and many other vegetable
based dishes. I am not used to sitting like this and would have to
stretch periodically. They have mats you can sit on, so after the
first day, I started using two or three of them. You know that
little bone on the side of your ankle? Yup, you don't notice it
until it hurts! At this restaurant, you could see them doing their
laundry outside of the window. They had all their whites on a
clothesline. Pretty neat!
